Manga

WoW .. i read manga for 3 hours today ...... read ard 40 chapters !! quite a lot .. In the past , i dont like to read manga as there is no sound effect and no colours .... usually i watch anime : Naruto , Bleach and EyeShield 21 ..... not many compared to other anime fans ...

Nowadays , Bleach doesnt follow the exact storyline .. it adds additional story to lengthen it .. which i find out pretty boring compared to the actual chronology ... Thus , i decided to read bleach manga at http://www.bleachexile.com/ ... I started with chapter 288 and continued reading until now 320 ... Cant stop reading ... just too much suspense in every last page .. it seduces us to continue reading .... By playing some songs , reading manga seems interesting ..

Now , i know that i cant stop reading once started ... So , i cant read manga which releases until few hundred chapters already as i would read until the end .... cant resist the temptation ... If i want to read , then i will start with new manga .....

At chapter 315 , the fighting stops .... It continues with special edition of the history of Soul Society ...... If the fighting continues , then it should be the greatest war among Captain and espada !! 4 Captains have been sent to Las ____ to asist Ichigo in saving Inoue .... However , Inoue is again being held captive by Aizen sama ... Aizen with his remaining espada went to Karakuro City to get the KEY ... The entire city has been sent to Soul Society .. so the residents are safe ... The Captains are ready to fight with Aizen and his espada !! The main character , Ichigo and a few other Captains cant go back to real world as the opening has been sealed ..... ( for bleach fans , i guess you should start reading manga NOW !! )

Extra class with Diligent Teacher

Haiz.... today , need to wake up at 7.45 although there is no school ... today is SATURDAY !! i should be sleeping until 11 am except playing basketball ... but today i have to attend an extra class for physics ...

This is my first time attending an extra class for phy .. usually Sat im not that free .. last few months i have Japanese class .. then the date coincided with Sport days ... the extra class will only be opened around once a month with an extra payment of rm 20 ....

When my clock alarm went on , i couldnt open my eyes ... just after 15 mins , i managed to wake up ... kinda late .. rushing to finish my breakfast .. Last night , ( should be early morning ) i slept at 2am .... less than 6 hours ... guess have to go for a nap later on ....

The teacher didnt continue the syllabus .. he discussed the past year questions of SPM ... overall , i understand better ... There are also extra facts which are not in syllabus -form 6 and so on .... I managed to answer 80 % of the questions without teacher's help ... guess can get A already :P ...

The day before the extra class , i have a doubt on whether to go basketball or tuition .. Since extra class is once a month or 2 ... and i can play basketball tomorrow , Sunday ( although less people free to go - family day / father's day ) ... Thus , i went for tuition to see what is the difference from other classes ..

Quite a number of students who attended the class .. actually i prefer a smaller group of tuition ..so that i can easily voice out my suggestion and ideas without interrupting the class too much ..... This class also helps me to revise on Form 4 syllabus in only 2 hours .....

This teacher is quite well-known .. he only gives tuition , writes book and others related to teaching ... he gives Add maths , Phys ,and Chem tuition for secondary school students .... around 20+ students in 1 group ..... I just joined this tuition last year ... Since it is 2 times a month , he has to rush to complete the syllabus .. he doesnt have much time to discuss question with us ..... So , extra class is considered vital so that we are exposed to different questions which might come out .....He is one of the author of Physics Success book for SPM ..... He is very experienced teacher .. He explains clearly .. he can notice who is not paying attention , talking , smsing in one glance .... So , the class is very quiet ..

His clock is always 20 mins faster ... So he is quite punctual person ... I never see him scold people before .... as everyone respects him !!! This is the highest level of teaching !! lolz .. nobody dare to do anything funny ....He has 2 maids in one double-storey house ... consider rich for a teacher .... He always relates the lesson with daily life activities so that we understand better ... Whenever i ask him a question , he can answer easily .... So far , he never fail to answer my question ... he always analyses each question out of the boundary ... he thinks beyond .. he doesnt answer the question to solve it but to learn from it and relate to other situation ......

Guess he is one of the teachers that i admire the most .....

Q: How much sleep is ideal?

A: Studies show that people who sleep between 6.5 hours and 7.5 hours a night, as they report, live the longest. And people who sleep 8 hours or more, or less than 6.5 hours, they don't live quite as long. There is just as much risk associated with sleeping too long as with sleeping too short. The big surprise is that long sleep seems to start at 8 hours. Sleeping 8.5 hours might really be a little worse than sleeping five.

I guess i dont have to sleep so early now ^^ .. i usually sleep at 11.30 and wake up at 6.30 ... around 7 hours which is perfect !!!! i thought of sleeping earlier because feeling tired while in the school .. guess 7.5 hours is the best for me .. can concentrate better during the lesson ... and also live the longest !! what do you think ?

Back To School

after 2 weeks of holiday , im back to school ... the second semester is much more hectic , more academically and also the last term for me - ending of high school life ... thus , i will work harder so i wont regret later on .. i take 11 subjects for SPM which quite normal .. i dont take extra subjects which are not necessary .... just focus in these subjects already make me @@ .. 11 subjects are more than enough ... some students take 15 , 16 subjects which i think is just too much to handle .. my aim is getting straight A's .. my school will give about rm 250 for each A's if we get 8A's and above ... the money can be used on new laptop , hand phone ( PDA ) , ipod , new clothes , pre-U fees and books ..

Back to school .. im ready to get the result .. Most of them are not as good as last end term exam .. maybe , just too much to study .. Guess i have to change my study technique ... by doing a mind-map ,...very useful for recalling ideas .. Last holiday , i didnt study much .. i spent most of time playing comp and writing blog :P .... I wont quit blogging but just reduce the number of times posting blog ... there is an exam in July ... trial is in Sept and real SPM is in Nov ..

I argue with teachers who some questions ... There are some teachers who are not that lenient .. they really have reasons for marking it wrong .. So they are well-prepared to tackle the students' argument .. except for wrong calculation .. I manage to get 2 marks for Moral , 1 mark for Eng , 3 marks for BM today .. not bad huh ~~ .. guess my answers also have its own reason to tackle the teacher's answer .. Sometimes i understand the reason why the teachers dont give more marks for essay .. it is not that they want to pull the marks down but to prevent us from felling satisfy and proud ..we can learn from mistakes .. Sometimes we have to think in the teacher's perspective too .

Lepak ~~

so tiring ..today walked half day .... around 9 of us , watched movie - Prom Night ..which is a story about a murderer who kills a lot of people as he falls in love with a girl .... what a silly person and lack of humanity !! Are you willing to sacrifice for love ? It all happens during the prom night . It supposes to be a happy day for them as they are celebrating the ending of high school life .. quite sad also as they have to separate ... guess the same thing will happens to me ( i mean the sadness for the ending of high school life ) Anyways , it is the way of life .. we have to move on ... Thus , we have to really appreciate it .. so that we wont regret later on ...

out of topic pulak =.= , the story then continue with the escape of the murderer from the prison .. he kills 5 persons while looking for his beloved girl who does not like him ( murder the girl's family - quite insane ) ...

Before SPM , my school will be having a graduation night too ..no dancing .. No prom king and prom queen k .. it will be very formal .. i went there before .. although it was not my graduation :P ... i was the temporary monitor , so i had to observe and get some ideas for the multimedia session ... Everyone looked great on that night .. they dressed to kill ... looked smart and mature ... I have to buy a formal cloth for my graduation night .....Guess i have to borrow my bro's blazer .. as our size is almost the same ( save $$ as it is quite exp ) .. It is a happy night but also sad night for the form 5's ..... they were really having a lot of fun taking pictures but they were sad to separate .. it will happen to everyone one day

Guess what ? i changed school for quite a lot of times ... From SMK Methodist ACS , Seremban to SMK Seri Saujana .. and lastly SM Sri KL ....but i think one of my friends changes more than me > 6 times in total !! Do you like to change school ? Everyone might have different point of view ..


For me , it depends on situation .. if you have to migrate , then you have no choice but to move .. where ever your parents go , you have to follow .. except you want to stay in hostel ... There are some of my friends from Indo studying in my school too .. they are trained to be independent ... they want to pursue their studies in better school ... guess Sri KL is quite well-known :p .. It may give benefits ... The benefits are :

1. get better education
2. more freedom
3. more independent ( as i said )
4. make new friends

But the parents have to make sure that their son / daughter are willing to go and mature enough ... if they are too young , it might give different result .. They may be too stress , miss their family , cant cope with studies , lack of guidance and so on ...

In my last exam essay , i wrote about studying in overseas is better compared to studying locally .. I think the quality is a lot different although it might be much more expensive... if you can afford , why dont seek for better university ? where the lecturers are well-trained , learn their cultures and traditions and at the same time learn to be more independent.. you have to learn to make your own decision as nobody can help you all the times .. .. The students come from all over the world .. so you can learn their cultures as well .. Studying is part of life .. you should also enjoy your life in overseas .. you will slowly figure out the differences ... during holidays , you can go travel .. as it is cheaper ( stay near there ) ....

Now , there are a lot new university in Malaysia too .. Lim Kok Wing U , Monash U , and so on ....They are well-known to provide good education ...

Petrol price hike by 40 %

I thought the price hike will be in August .. but the sudden inflation of price by 40% to rm 2.70 really give a surprise to the motorists .. It will surely burdens those who travel a lot except by public transport ... The petrol price hike will causes inflation of other products which require transportation fees .. guess cant go out that often to play basketball :P ..

My parents got the latest news and quickly filled up their petrol tank after their work ... My dad found a strategic place to pump petrol ... Not so crowded as the petrol kiosk has a lot of petrol pumps.. However , they took them 30 mins to and fro ... I guess it would be traffic jam everywhere near the petrol station tonight .. I doubt the singaporeans will come to fill up their petrol tank in Johor tonight as it would be extreme crowded ......

Addiction , Sleep , My Dad

Last night , i search for my friends in friendster until 3am .. kinda late .. i promised myself earlier that i would only play for 1 hour .... but doesnt seem to work .. The best way to make sure i sleep early is that switch off the comp before 10 pm .. Prevention is better than cure .. As i sit in front of the computer , i dont realise that time passes so quickly .. While studying , time passes so slowly @@ .. Isnt it true ?

Insufficient sleeping period will weaken your immune system ... For our age , the best is to sleep for at least 8 hours .. The brain functions at its best when it receives enough rest .. You will not feel sleepy during the class and be more alert ....Enough sleep can also reduce the risk of having heart disease and others ... My father cant sleep early .. usually around 11.30pm as he will be reading books before he sleeps .. he buys a lot of books !! price doesnt matter , just make sure it helps him .. If I ask him to buy book , he definitely will buy for me without a second thought !! .. If i ask him to buy games , he will give a second thought .. Once in a while ( special occasion / excellent result ) , he will buy .. or not i have to share money with my bros and mum to buy ... Once he gives the money , he wont take it back ...he knows i wont spend it unnecessary .. he never hesitate to donate money to the poor .. During the Wesak day , he would give money to me and ask me to donate it to the beggars while im young.. he want to instill generosity in us .. has been practising this for years ..

He came from a poor family .. he didnt have money to pursue his tertiary study .. he worked and studied all by himself .. Maybe this does influence me .. He became a manager at such a young age ( 25 years old ).. he has to bear the cost of living of his mum and bros ... Thus , diligence is the mother of good fortune is very suitable for my dad .... he was one of the top students in Methodist Boy School .. he always stresses the importance of english ... coz he realises nowadays , the fresh graduates cant even speak simple english .. especially the accountants .. He told me a story of his worker : the worker wanted to say that the company suffers loss but he said " the company get lost " @@ ... and some also dont know the meaning of pail !!

He advises me to check dictionary frequently .. at his age , he still learns english .. learning is lifelong process ..

Old Times

Wow .. i found a lot of my primary school friends in friendster ... some of them look very different .. cant even recognize them .. more mature .. miss them very much ..When i can drive ( end of the year ) , most probably i will visit them and make a gathering party .. Have to act fast before they go to further their studies in respective college ..

Out of 10 friends , only 3 of them play facebook ... most of them prefer to play friendster .. Perhaps facebook is still new to them .. Recently , i have started playing friendster once again after 2 years due to the computer ( automatically close when i open friendster website ) .. I have 157 messages awaiting me .. But 99 % of them are not important ( forward without reason ) .. I search for my friends from my existing friends .. Take some time to locate them ..most of them are not so active ( last login : 3 months ) -.- ... anyway , this is the easiest and fastest way to keep in touch with them ..

Now , i am uploading some of my pictures to friendster .. It is a lot easier now compared to last 2 years .. You dont have to upload one by one ... just one shot , it will slowly upload .. save time .. while im searching for friends , some of them have 100++ photos ( thought they took 100 mins to upload them ) .. now i understand .. i can also grab pics from others .. not bad ..

How to Study ?

Scratching your head to memorize the lengthy notes ? Here are some methods on how to memorize and remember better ...

• Make short notes - the short notes can be in the form of mind map or numbering form ... just make sure that it has to be brief and simple .. dont have to copy exactly from the textbook .. the best way to write short notes is :- read , close the book , and recall ( RCR ).. quite effective for me as you only jot down those point that you can remember .. then as you write , you link it with other point .. make connection .. if you really cant remember , then write short notes for 1 page ..then gradually increase ..by using this method , you can use your own analytical thinking to come out with a solution .. Keep revise on your notes ( 1 week - 1 month - 2 month ) to make it long term memory .

• Stop to relax your mind - Everyone has different way to soothe their mind .. Make sure it does not take longer than the lapse of studying ... 10 mins break is just nice for me ... I can read for 1 and 1/2 hour continuously , then i lose focus .. it just cant "go in " .. Break in between study hour can improve your willingness to study .. your interest to study will build up ..

• Apply your knowledge in daily life - It may be difficult for certain subject .. but it really helps a lot if you are able to make some connection between them .. practical can be more useful than theory ..

• Focus on your lesson - It is the easiest and vital way of learning .. Ask the tutor if having any difficulty .. It is the best to read briefly before the lesson so you know what to be asked in the class .. Dont hesitate to ask .. if you do not want to interrupt the class , you can ask after the class .. ask and understand can save you a lot of time of doing research and reading ...

• Consistency in studying - For me , i can study at eleven hour ( last minute ) .. just cant memorize as there is just too much to read .. If you just want to pass , it may help .. Usually , i revise after every chapter ( make sure you understand the chapter ) Speed reading may help here if there are a lot of subjects .....

• Exercise - For SPM level , there are a lot of books in the market .. just keep practising before the exam so you are exposed to different way of answering question .. Maths , add maths , physics and account require a lot of practices ... try out the past year question of SPM .. does help a lot as the question might be similar ( in different questioning form )

All these methods are useful for all type of learners .. It depends on you . Your destiny falls on your hand

Dragonfly ?

Laugh until tears rolled down my cheek !! freaking funny movie ... the storyline is exactly the same as Spiderman ... just alter some to extreme foolish stuffs ..the main character is totally in contrast with spiderman ... doesnt seem to be a hero after all .. The rival of dragonfly who is Hourglass ( amusing name ) has a super ability after an untested experiment .. he has to kill people in order to stay alive ..

Dragonfly gets the special ability after being bitten by a dragonfly ( genetically modified ) .. he does a lot of silly stuffs .. definitely will makes you laugh until stomachache .. my bro watched for a while and didnt seem to like it ( too absurd and meaningless ) .. humiliate the character of spiderman ..for me , i think it is the funniest movie i have ever seen this year .. maybe it may be different case for you ?

It's time to start working

Finally i took the first footstep to clean up the mess in my room .... what i mean is the pile of exam papers and useful handout given by the teachers ... i filed them up systematically as you can see ..

It took me 1 hour to file them up accordingly .. Usually i do it during the holiday .. thus , the papers accumulate until ...

First , i separated them according to subjects .. then punch hole and file it .... usually 1 subject for 1 file .. certain subjects such as moral and acc are filed together ... Add maths papers are the most !! from tuition and school teachers .. it is true that add maths require a lot of practice and endurance to achieve excellent result .. but sometimes , we , as human also makes mistake .. I factorised wrongly in the first part and lost 5 marks ( the question is continuous )

There are also a lot of unnecessary papers which have to be disposed of ..

This is the result of not filing up the paper

I collected the whole series of Harry Potter storybook .. im a great fan of the book ..I made a reservation 2 months before it was being released !! i managed to buy the latest book in the first week !! I got a free t-shirt ( which doesnt look cool ) ... Then the following weeks , Carrefour sold the Harry Potter and The Deadly Hallows at much cheaper price !! If im not mistaken , the price was reduced by rm 30 ... OMG !! at that time , i was sure that it would be sold like hot cakes .. Then , the competitors :- Popular and MPH didnt seem to be happy with it .. they reduced the price too ... I felt better to get back the refund ( fortunately , i still kept the receipt ) ..

I changed my spectacles oftenly .. do you know why ? It's because my eye power keeps increasing every minute !! in just half year ( equivalent to six months ) , my eye power increases by 100 !! The left and right eyes' power are totally different ... they told me that i used left eye to often until i dont realise that >.- They asked me to rest my eyes every hour of playing comp .. as i used to play for 5 hours non-stop :P ( DOTA ) ..cant resist the temptation ( maybe should set alarm beforehand -.- ) who would remember to rest their eyes every hour except they are at extreme tiredness and at the state of boredom .. I also love trendy and modern spec !! so i don't buy the expensive frame ( except it is very cool ) as i would love to change it as often as possible !! it gives new look and appearance ~~ not so dull though .. i changed the first spec ( brown ) after 1 month coz made the wrong choice ^^ ... i started wearing spec at the age of 14 and now my eye power raised to 300 .. both eyes seem to be racing for the highest power !!

I have started reading Reader's Digest last year due to the urgency to improve my English proficiency ..It covers wide variety of real story , latest news , latest medical discovery , jokes , advertisements and so on ..quite expensive at the price of rm 15 per issue My eng is quite weak while in primary school because i spoke in BM :- Seremban coz

• a lot of Malays student
• teacher taught all the subjects in Malay except for Eng class
• I'm couldn't speak well in Eng ( speak in Cantonese at home )

I'm totally agree with the step to change maths and science to English .. Although i may be difficult at the beginning , gradually you would get used to it .. especially the primary school students !! they are still young . So they can easily learn a language easily ( better memory ,less work and stress ) I learnt Japanese last few months .. I'm totally lost in the class as i do not have time to revise and memorise the words .. There are 3 different types which are

• katakana
• hiragana
• romanji

if im not mistaken , katakana is similar to chinese character .. a disadvantage case for me as im illiterate in Mandarin ... so i stick to the romanji ( use a , b , c ..,z ) .. no worry .. then later on , the tutor stopped teaching in romanji as he taught that we should try to use katakana and hiragana .. @@ At that time , i have exam and other school practice ..( mana ada masa ~~ ) although the class is once a week , i feel lazy to memorise ~~ my interest grows in the beginning then slowly reduces ..haha ..then i stopped ..

luckily i didn't sign up for another tuition centre which requires me to pay fully :- RM 3000++ for 5 years !!! ( smart thinking .. to trap the innocent people ) they guaranteed us that we can speak fluently in Japan ... as we can join extra class if didn't understand .. and it is a lot nearer to my house .. so i paid rm 100 for deposit .. later on , i found out that YMCA is offering the same course for only RM 300 ( first level ) .. of coz i chose the cheaper and reliable centre .. YMCA offers wide variety of language classes : Japanese , french , mandarin , English , and so so ......and also sports , body language , self defense ~~ The first week , i went there by train ...so tiring and waste time ... by the time i reached the centre , I'm panting and covered in sweat ( woke up late :P ) ....then , my dad and my bro took turn sent me ... I'm more familiar with the train route since then ... Now i cant speak in Japanese yet .. just learn the very basic .. may continue after spm.

My study desk is full of books , decoration , pictures and souvenirs ... i love artistic things .. Can you see the rubic's cube ? i started learning last year... popular among my classmate for only a month ... everyone gets crazy with it .. some even buys key chain with rubic's cube .. we competed for the fastest time to complete it ... most of them are boys .. girls not so keen in this game .. i bought the cube after i found out that it is fun !! then , i lent it to my fren in the class .. the teacher confiscated it for a week as my fren was playing during her lesson ..... i managed to get it back after a week ... i surfed net for the methods and formula to solve the puzzle .. but i think it is easier to consult help from the " pro " friends .. my fastest time record is 57 seconds .. consider slow compared to my friends ...

The Donald Duck and Squirrel was bought in HK Disneyland ... i didn't buy much things in HK last december as

• expensive
• can be obtained in Malaysia

One last thing before i forget !! ANYONE INTERESTED TO GO TO MY SCHOOL CHARITY FIESTA ? all the profit will be given to the orphanage , disabled children , and other organization .. there will be popular singers performing at that day .. ( Bin Guan , one from Akademi Fantasia , and two more ) they volunteered to give free service without any payment as it is a charitable event ... so why don't you join us at that meaningful day .. try to experience the Magic of Sharing !! it really helps a lot ... you should be thankful for having a chance to sit down comfortably and playing your comp here .. many unfortunate people are awaiting your help ....

Now im learning to put video and songs into my blog to make it sounds cool !! I think it should be a lot easier compared to Spacelives blog as blogspot gives full explaination on how to use the features here ..besides that , it only takes few seconds to upload a picture which fit nicely on the screen .. i will not hesitate to upload more pictures now .. as i love taking pictures and making this blog looks more inviting to the visitors..I also learn to type faster !! it is as though kill 2 birds with one stone ( obtain two benefits at the same time :- my english teacher always mentions it in the class ) ... Now i found the REAL FUN of writing blog !!

Tun Dr Mahathir's blog reaches 1 million visitors in just 1 month .. outstanding number of visitors due to his popularity worldwide .. he was the former prime minister of our beloved country , Malaysia .. i doesnt really read word by word written by him as there are just too much to read .. you can try and visit his blog at www.chedet.com if you really want to know what he is thinking .. he uses different languages for different situation .. i prefer to read the english post .. he is a great politician who does everything for our country although he needs to relin
