It has been quite a few days since i updated my blog ... Recently , i fall into the addiction trap of dota .

i played the game since form 2 then stopped in form 4 .. very addictive game .. i even played during PMR examination !! thank god , the game didnt affect my pmr result .. i managed to quit the game when my account in blueserver -Dota get temporarily banned for 3 months as i left game ... to thoroughly quit the game , i uninstalled the game ..



After SPM exam , i have one month holiday before my course gonna start... so i try to soothe my mind after the hectic and stressful exam period ... last 2 weeks , my friend borrowed me the CD to install back the game .. i thought i manage to control myself while playing the game ..but i fail ! ..

Every game takes 40 mins - 1 hour .. so if i play 3 games , it is already 3 hours ... Some people get addicted and go to cyber cafe to play Dota with the friends .. ( i heard they say it is more fun to play together ) although they have internet connection at home .. for me , it is kinda waste of money to play outside while you can play at home ..

It is a strategic game which requires critical thinking to analyse every single movement by the enemy and approach them with different skills and items to win the game ... every game , you will be allowed to choose a hero ( if it is allpick ) ... in total , there are 74 heros i guess .. so if you wanna try all the heroes , you need 74 hours ~!

i learnt quite a few terms from this game - b ( back ) , bd ( backdoor ) , gb ( gang bang )
it is all short form to accomodate the smooth playing of game .. if you type all the time , you may be killed at anytime .. so we prefer short form ..



Last time there is Blueserver .. now it is replaced by Garena .. a local connection to play with other players .. the weakness of Garena is that there are lot of leavers ..In fact Blueserver leavers will get banned .. so nobody dare to leave game in the middle of game .. there are more rules in Blueserver .. every home user is allowed to have 1 account by using their streamyx account ID ... but in Garena , you are allowed to create 10 accounts and leave game at your own wish .. so there is less fun as the game usually short of player 4 vs 5 , 3 vs 5 and others ...
and also i realised Garena is lagger than Blueserver ..

Dont let the game controls you , it is you who control the game ~

the restaurant - Jogoya situated in StarHill ... offers best quality of service ... with good environment - modern light effect

pay first before having your buffet ( smart businessman - they have more than enough workers to wash plates :P )

what a lavish buffet i have ever had so far ..

cost rm 75 per head .. the quality of food they serve is up to par ..there are variety of food served - ranged from chinese style , korean , japanese , hakka , thai , and others ..

i ate 4 plates of different types of food which include abalone , shark fins , scallop , osyter , fish , sushi , and others ... the best is the dessert = Haagen Dazs ( quite expensive if eat outside = around rm15 - rm 30 1 cup i guess .. ) i had 3 rounds of dessert spree .. until my stomach surrendered ~ .in total , i ate 3 meals in 2 hours .. we reached there late .. so we left 2 hours to stuff all the food into my mouth .. shouldnt say like that .. should be left 2 hours to enjoy the food ^^

Of course , for those who had buffet , we eat as much as possible .. since we pay that much , we should eat that much too !! i didnt eat a balanced diet during Cameron trip .. especially maggie mee and all the snacks .. so the feast would greatly supplement the insufficient nutrients ^^

It was Christmas that day .. so quite a lot people there .. but there are always enough food for troop of hungry soldiers .. i can expect most of them from good background based on their branded stuffs - LV , Burberry , Gucci , Nike , and others ..

TiRing JourNeY

Cameron trip gave me an opportunity to soothe my mind and foster my relationship with my friends .. It was a great trip anyway . although problems sometimes arised ..

Went to Cameron Highland for 3days 2 nights .

Around 13 people only who joined the trip . There are 3 couples and 7 singles .

First day

Reached bukit jalil lrt station at 9am . Went to plaza rakyat with lrt . a lot people there . it was my first time experience to take bus at that place .. Then someone asked us where to go , then we answered ... the agent said " bus tak selamat " .. although we didnt use your service , but dont try to tarnish other company reputation ..

waited for so long .. around 10.40am only could get into the bus . Nightmare ride to cameron for 4 hours ... the bus vibrating at 20 hertz per second .. lolz .. i think the bus suspension wears off .. couldnt really sleep , play or read ... we supposed to go with so-called VIP bus at first . but changed to this " shaking " bus ...

Reached tanah rata - Cameron at 3pm i guess .. whole morning and afternoon burnt . Then 14 person including the bus driver cramped into a small van . 15 minutes staying in that static position .

The apartment is far off the city .. not so convenient to go pasar malam and other places .. but quite peaceful ..with rows of shops - bakery , restaurant , dobi , pool , cc ( without dota ) and others

Our first lunch in at Uncle Chow restaurant . the food not bad .. but my chicken rendang is quite salty .. since the lunch was included in the payment , so we didnt hesitate to order our favourites . At night we went to pasar malam ... lot of keychain , strawberry , fried mushroom , flowers , and fruits .. all stalls almost selling the same things.

at night , we ate spaghetti ... not enough sauce .. it was cooked by the girls .. the guyz went for pooling while waiting ... we played cards .. the couples booked the room ... so we played in the dining room .. i played until 1am then beh tahan ... went to sleep. .. while sleeping , they played " true or dare " ... wanna disturbed those that had slept .. luckily they dont dare to disturb me ..lolz

Second day

Couldnt sleep well .. 3 person slept on small bed .. couldnt move , blanket too small , and so cold !! usually i dont switch on the air-con at home .. not get used to the weather .. eat maggie mee in the morning .. then went to Boh plantation , bee farm , butterfly farm , strawberry farm , market and others..

we only had 30 mins to walk around each place .. we were like racing for time ... not enough time to take more pictures and enjoy the trip ..haiz ..

Wow , the bus driver is so skilful .. while encountering the cornering and narrow road , he drove smoothly with ease .. wearing a black spec with moustache - so cool man .. bought some souvenirs for my family members .. around 2.30 pm reached apartment ..

From then , there was nothing to do .. just stayed in the living room watched astro .. all the 3 couples went to their respective rooms and locked the door =.= haiz ..

at night , we had steamboat dinner .. got a lot similar type of food .. but too much for us ... couldnt finish all ...

then we went for pool till 12.30 am ...then play "super extreme game" in the room ... only the singles playing ..the couples slept so early .. i dont know the name of the game .. each person gets a card ... then the one get King gonna instructs those 2 person to do something according to the number they get ..played till 4.20 am ..so tired .. ( i prefer to keep the " things " happened in that room confidential :P our little secrets)

LAST DAY

regret sleeping so late the last night .. so tired when woke up at 7am .. slight migraine .. 10 minutes to pack all the stuffs ... since the bus would arrive at 7.30am .. that's early .. i planned to sleep in the bus anyway ... luckily this bus is better ..with better and more comfort seat , i could sleep for 3 hours ...

played psp and read while waiting .. so sienz , other friends slept the whole journey ...since we got extra rm 100 we had a free lunch .. but in a warm mamak stall ..=.=

Short ForM

After chatting for the past 8 years ( approximately ) , i see a variety of short forms .. in sms or in msn such as

• asap = as soon as possible
• nt = nothing
• ad = already
• off = office
• wm = wai ming ( my name !! )
• b4 = before

there are a lot of them .. it depends on different individual writing style ... there are also some of my friends who retain writing in proper english ... capital letter for first letter and end with a dot ..

some of them also translate their own language into eng which makes the sentence to be wrong .. for example , " Wo hen xian ni = i very much love you " .. it was being highlighted by my eng teacher in form 4 .

of course there are some exception while using short forms .. such as the course that i will study , ACCA = Association of Certified Chartered Accountant .. i dont think you will probably say the whole thing out while making enquiry in a exhibition .. maybe they dont even know what is it .. they are only familiar with the short form , ACCA ..

different people have different interpretion . It may sound right to one person but the actual meaning is not conveyed .. if you type ACCA in the search tab , it can come out Air Conditioning Contractors of America and the actual ACCA that im looking for .. so to be more specific , just type the full name of it ..

the command of english has dropped .. with the advancement of technology , less people keen to open up a book and read .. they prefer to play and enjoy something that requires adrenaline rush ( mostly teenagers ) besides that , the lack of interest is also due to the price of a book .. the expensive price of each book in a bookstore hinders them to buy the book .. of course , for those who can afford does not even look at the price tag .. as they think it is worth it if the book really that interesting and help them ..

for example , my dad often goes to a bookstore when he visits a shopping complex .. he does not keen in shopping and walking aimless looking for clothes ... his room has lot books .. some of them can be useful to me :P ...

HardworKing

i wrote this essay " write about a person who is hardworking " in spm esssay question

how to define hardworking ? erm , someone who works hard ? hehe ... i think i didnt write well for the essay .. since i was just described a person's life who is hardworking .. something like biodata .. erm , i did create some virtual story in between .


Today i saw someone begged for money .. you know what is the technique he used ? he said need money to take public transport back to home .. the first impression he gave me was not that good .. he is well-built with muscular biceps and triceps ... with tattoo !! owh ... it happened in a mamak stall near Masjid Jamek ...

Initially, he asked for rm 10 ..then reduced to rm 5 .. since my dad is always generous , he gave some $$ ... not much , just rm 1 ..haha .. ( we know he cheat .. just to give to prevent him from continuing disturbing )

five minutes later , another woman with a child asked for $$ .. haiz .. just ignored them .. cant be giving $$ for no reason.. if they are handicap ,then different case ..

In the morning , i went to a shopping complex nearby .. to top up my prepaid hp .. the shops havent opened yet !! it was 11.50am when i reached there .. what a disappointment ..lazy or ?
although there are not many people shopping there , i thought they should be one out of 10 shops open .. but not even one ...=.=

Yesterday i saw the Tung Wha hong kong show .. they managed to collect 85 million hong kong dollar ( if i counted correctly the number of digits ) .. that's a lot !! the money gonna to be used for society , counter poverty , education and others ..

My SchooL

SMK METHODIST ACS

I studied in that school for 7 years .. a lot sweet and bad memories there .. made quite a lot of friends since primary school .. some still stay in contact - msn / friendster .. those that cant online , then via sms ..

i became a prefect for few years .. then elected as treasurer in form 1 .. left the school in form 2 .. actually becoming a prefect in the school is tough .. have to memorise the rules for each places under surveillance ... cant talk to each other .. short period for break , exam ( duty comes first )..

But of course it trains leadership quality and discipline ..

Facilities are just ok .. recently there is a fund for them ( according to the STAR newspaper ) . i guess it will help them a lot ... the toilet stink smell i still remember very clearly .. got 1 teacher asked us to flush the toilet bowl before using it ..that's true ... another thing - the toilet door is made of steel .. so the mischievous students cant break it .. lolz

Mostly are malay teachers .. o ya , during primary school , everyone has to speak in BM or BI .. since a lot of students are malays too .. so i spoke quite often in BM .. even with chinese friends .. became a habit ... then after migrate to kl , only i start to learn BI ... now i achieve the average level for BI .. next language gonna to be Mandarin !!

SMK SRI SAUJANA

Although only for 2 years , it changed me a lot .. i guess i become a lot more hardworking in this school .. a lot competitors here - Guo Dung and Shashinath ... we all competed for the throne ^^ ... quite enjoy the moment .. then got another gang - still meet each other almost 3 times a week after school .lolz ... we play basketball nearby... hang out during holiday ... and next week going to Cameron with them too ..

What makes me change school ? the teachers ... they are so busy with school activities and stuffs ... insufficient number of experienced teachers to teach ... often skipped class .. owh , so we usually studied by ourselves .. 1 school day got around 8 periods - the worst case was that they entered only 2 periods .. erm , now im not that sure whether there is improvement ...

SM SRI KUALA LUMPUR

Only for 2 years , it was the happiest study moment ... with Wai Suan n Soon Hong in my class , everyday was so fun ... they are good in telling jokes - even during lessons ..haha ... then got more competitors in this school .. all also smart .. i couldnt get the chance to take over the number 1 position ... Ching Yee especially ( study smart , not hard ) - study a bit A level syllabus during SPM ... not only that , he did research in library - Chemistry .. what surprise me is that he didnt study for the subject before exam ... he studies for next day papers ...

we won the recycling competition and class beautification . almost could get the 3rd placing in drama competition if the music functioned .. teamwork is important ..when we worked together , everything seems can be achieved .. although it is always last minute :P

The Road Not Taken

i would never forget this experience ..

Yesterday night , my friend - Chun Seng invited me to go for jungle trekking ..sounds fun and adventurous !! of course i agreed to follow him ... and asked him what to bring for the expedition - " bring yourself - no need bring anything " .... lolz , then i thought the jungle trekking to be easy since he didnt ask me to do any preparation at first ..

the next morning , i woke up late .. so didnt bring anything as i thought i was late ... that's the big mistake i have done ... i should have brought :

• compass
• map
• bag (can be carried at the back rather than sling bag )
• knife
• strings (act as marker in case want to turn back )
• earphone ( listen to songs :P )
• first aid stuffs

I waited for them for 40 minutes in the mamak stall .. my patience reached the limit ! lolz .. my anger slowly subsided after a while .. The jungle trekking location - Bukit Gasing is near pj old town - just 15 minutes by car ..

once i stepped into the place , i made another mistake of bringing my sling bag .. so troublesome to carry it around .. haiz ( wanna throw it away !! )

Since yesterday night rained , so the pathway was slightly muddy .. i wore the wrong shoe for this expedition - Nike shoe ( for shopping purpose ) ... but luckily it can remain clean after the rough expedition .. i tried to avoid the mud and walk extra careful ...

We went up a tower and had a look at the scenic view of the jungle .. the staircase is rather steep .. a wrong step - you will roll down and may break your bones ..

Wow , the expedition was nice in the beginning .. everyone was so energetic and alert initially .. we looked forward to experience and explore the jungle .. after 10 mins walked - the excitement subsided .. it was not as easy as we thought .. we have to climb up staircase - panting for breath after reach halfway of the Bukit ..

we just randomly chose the way when we reached a junction .. " The Road Not Taken " the poem that we have learnt in BI novel - happened that time ... we have to choose the pathway between 2 choices .. should it be - right or left ? dark or bright ? up or down ? haha .. if i bring a marker , then i have no worry to trace back the way back to the starting point ..

after 1 hour trapped in the jungle , we felt nervous , exhausted and tired .. we wanted to get out of the nightmare place .. i found out that we were lost in the forest !! we met dead end .. there is no more turning back !! just slide down ~~ ( get to the bottom as fast as possible )

Joel suggested to follow the drain follow down the hill .. and what surprised me was that - Kar Yan's sister - 12 years old ( if im not mistaken ) was brave enough to face the obstacle .. proud of her to overcome it boldly ..

Then we used the drain to go down .. when we reached the bottom , there is a fence !! there is not way turning back ~ Luckily we saw a man showed us the way to climb over the fence .. that's the exit !! while escaping , Chun Seng injured his hand terribly .. It was bleeding profusely firstly .. then getting better after clotting took place ..

I was the photographer .. they were relieved to be out of the nightmare .. i wanted to jump into the swimming pool !! haha .. we were inside an apartment .. Then we met 2 women who helped us showed the direction and how to escape from the security guard - Thanks Miss Fong !!

Expedition on the road !! haha .. we walked another 3 km to reach the car ...

I am consider lucky as i escaped with just a single cut on the leg ..hehe .. ( Thanks to the long pants !! )

Chun Seng was unlucky .. he went to consult doctor's advice .. he said the wound has to be stitched to speed up the healing process and prevent bacterial infection .. I saw the process .. It was scary !! .. what a pain !! the doctor without hesitation injected the syringe into the wound with ease .. @@
