now the current situation of H1N1 seems quite serious .. even though i have exam , i always follow the news of H1N1 through newspaper.. and the number quite worrying .. with the number of deaths currently at 32 for Malaysia - 1900+ in World ..
mostly those that died from the virus infection are those high risk people - infants , elderly , those with disease or low immune system .. even a 20 years old student found dead in the hostel .. do he fall into this high risk group ? who knows ..
for my PT 1 exam , it was held in MPH hall .. which can accomodate few hundred students .. during exam , i heard quite a number of people coughing ... even i also cough today @@ .. (throat itchy .. want to scratch but cant reach :P ) ... the current weather - hazy worsens the situation .. i read from newspaper that the virus can stay longer in the air with haze >< ...
now Najib seems to start worry after 32 deaths ... he asks the Health Ministry to take proactive measures to tackle it - mostly increase the awareness of the virus to the public ... but does it really help ? does it able to contain the virus ?
what i can do now is maintain personal hygiene .. wash my hands frequently .. never touch my nose , mouth , eyes unnecessary .. stay away from people who sneeze , cough ( as the virus transmission through droplets ) .. and also reduce outing with my friends .. ( no more clubbing TT )
