Fly to China for 8days ... till 31 dec 2009 .. timing just nice to go for countdown with friends ..

with my bro there , confirm there will be nice photos of the scenery there .. never been to a country that cold - winter now .. hope can adapt to it ...

the timing for the flight - 6.40am ... means i have to be there by 4.30am .. haiz .. means tonight no need to sleep..

just back home after having dinner with them in Cheras .. seems like there is a lot restaurants i havent explore in Cheras .. just now Kaki Corner quite reasonable the price - Western food .. but a bit noisy with so high volume of the song ...

today full day out .. from early morning , i went to find my Sri KL friends to have dim sum , then went for pool with my ex-classmates .. Wei Hong really can play well !! need time we play again ... Ching Yee needs to practise more , then can improve .. nothing can learn overnight ...

then from Puchong , i went to Cheras to find my Sunway friend .. set wrong location for GPS and went to wrong place =.= ... took 1 hour to reach my friend's house which supposingly should take 30 minutes .. then we went to check out the Weight Gainer powder - rm 296 for 1 month .. quite expensive .. then i surf the net and found rm 200 only .. but need to ship from 1 place .. need to check out the details first ..

Paintball - very good and exciting game .. leaves you breathless for a moment ... the need to defeat the enemy and evade the bullets ... the spirit of teamwork and cooperation are vital here ... in the war zone , there is actually no turning back ... in paintball , we can still revive after being shot in the next game ... so to bring out the "fire " in ourselves , try to make paintball game is though in war zone ... then we will perform at our best .. after the "first time " i learn better in movement , being patient , helping teammates , and others ...



Does learning occurs in classroom only ?

we can gain knowledge anywhere .. today i went to kl - times square for a movie ... forget to bring GPS .. thus to go back home , i rely on myself to discover the road back home ( and it took me 1 hour to reach home - supposingly take only 20 minutes ) although i went for the longer way , i learn the new road better than listening to instruction of GPS .. of course , it used more petrol .. so there are always pro n cons ..

last time while im small , i used to sit down and rest in the car ... but now i look around and question myself ... why dad use this road rather than the other 1 ..? what is the advertisement board message ?

even talking with friends , we can learn something from them .. i discussed with my friends about gym - supplements .. we compared price , nutrition content , location and others .. we learn something that we ourself may not know from other who is more knowledgable ..

today i insisted to go for 2012 movie ( which i dont get to watch during exam ) - it may be outdated , shown in slower cinema .. but i want to learn about what the theory behind 2012 .. is the Maya's theory can be scientifically proven ?

Before end of exam , i watched Storm Warriors 2 .... it is just ok the movie .. quite predictable of the storyline .. the graphic really sophisticated ... this type of movie - the best is to watch in cinema rather than at home ...

Next movie that i watched is Avatar - in Malacca .. 2 n 45 mins movie .. quite long .. but really worth my time .. i can say this is the best movie for this year !!! they are trying to instil the moral values in this 21st generation mankind to save our planet rather than destroying our MotherEarth .. the storyline continues to goes interesting in the last 1 n half hour ... until the peak where the evil guy is killed ...

today just watched BodyGuard and Assasin ... another historical movie of china ... i think using media - movie to convey the message in the history is really useful .. rather than memorising the 200+ pages Sejarah book ... this movie shows how the chinese heroes sacrifice their lives for revolution ... 1 by 1 the warriors killed by the anti-revolutionists .. the blood splashing seems so real ... but the part where 1 hero fights with 10+ assassins seem quite fake ... another 1 where the big guy being stabbed continuously but yet still got the strength to pull the pilar down ...

Staying at quite a new area .. my neighbour few doors away once again renovates their house - making that annoying ( breaking wall ) sound .. haiz ... same thing occur during SPM ..

travelling few km to college library to study - susceptible to whispering of students ... might be a better plan than staying at home ..

and now the noise stops for a moment .. when does it blast again ?

Play The Game Well

just few more weeks from exam -CAT-ACCA , here are few tips that might be useful :-

• complete all past year questions .. i just realise the examiner runs out of idea , so there are a lot questions repeating .. but do have to anticipate unexpected questions not from textbook .. calm and logical thinking may help here ..

• KNOW YOUR ENEMY WELL - read examiner report - to know what the usual mistakes the students made .. and it seems there is hint ~ for next sitting in the report ...
  

• syllabus - as a guide .. as the questions cant run far from the syllabus .. use "checklist approach" - identify which areas not covered

• 20-80 rule -Pareto Theory .. when studying , there are certain areas which can put less emphasis on .... so study smart ~ .. if you fail t8 in trial , put additional effort on it ..rather than t6 ( higher passing rate )

plan to go library to study at 8.30 .. mission failed .. slept till 9.45am

reached college at 11.15 am ... waited for 5 minutes to find parking .. for your info , the parking will soon be demolished to build new building with parking levels .. then where should i park my car during construction ? there is another construction at the side of sunway college .. so much development - utilise all unused land available ..

study till 2.30 pm .. progressing very slow .. didnt even reach half of my target ( very adverse ) .. just on time to buy the McValue lunch 2minutes before 3pm .. haha ^^ .. my watch time is set 5minutes faster ... and they set the clock faster by 7 minutes =.=

Met the dentist once again after a year ~ the " shi shi sha " process - cleaning began .. slightly pain but quite satisfy with the result .. and there is a new wisdom tooth at the end which needs to be removed before it worsen - cost rm 680 + PAIN ~ .. postpone the pain after my final exam ..

sacrifice the entreprenuership talk to go for badminton ... it may seem not a wise choice as the talk may help me in future but the badminton is just short term excitement .. just follow my feeling ..

after badminton , saw the jogging track in Bt Jalil .. went for short jog .. after parked my car in nearby shop to buy something .. i CANT ignite the enginee .. haiz .. luckily my house is just 5minutes walk away .. walked back hopelessly after trying all method to start the engine .. now i know why i cant turn the key - my car steering is not straight !!

RicH DaD Poor DaD

I hardly spend an hour or more reading a book other than related to my course and some storybook - Twilight series ..

but i spend 2 and half hour reading this book yesterday night ..



really enlightening book .. i just read the first lesson .. and it seems to bring out my fire , passion , energy to really " make money work for you " ..

the approach to guide readers - by using his real life story . why do we study for something that no longer exist in the current world .. the old advice of - " study hard , get good grades , get secure job " is actually hardly apply in the current fast changing world ..

but does that mean you dont have to study that hard ? NO .. study is just the stepping stone towards success .. the best part really is to apply those knowledge ..

" Broke is temporary , Poor is eternal " - one of the quotation in the book ..

what will really solve a problem .. ? rather than blaming others for a mistake , try to think of yourself first .. it is always easier to change yourself ~

life always push you around .. whether you try to fight back or being consumed by the " fear " of losing everything .. no one can really help you , if you yourself cant help yourself...

just the first lesson - i learn load of stuffs .. which may change my future . the basic concept is good enough to unleash the potential in each of us .. do you want to be 5 % of the population ( rich ) or 95 % of the population ( poor ) ?

do i make the right choice ?

it is so fast ~ one year has almost passed ..last year i was still secondary school student - took SPM .. now is my junior turn to take it .. all the best for them .. this month is crucial for them , as well as for me .. my final 4 papers to determine whether i will continue to ACCA .. or stayback for another 6 months ..

quite a number of my friends place high expectation of me - to be world prize .. i will do my best .. as it is not impossible ... but sometimes depend on my luck ...

back to main topic , to SPM holders this year who will be deciding what course to go next year , i can give a brief introduction of different professional accountancy courses :-

• ACCA - recognised in UK and worldwide .. more exam-oriented with less assignment .. main syllabus of finance , costing , management accounting , auditing , tax planning , law ( general ) , management decision .. CAT - ACCA faster route -3 years to complete everything with cheap tuition fees - rm 40 k can complete everything ..
  

• CIMA - more focus on factory industry .. management accounting , costing and decision making ..

• CPA - recognised in Australia mainly .. can earn high salary if work in Australia .. after taking ACCA , there are a lot papers exempted here .. my dad says only last few papers of CPA to be taken to be CPA holder ..
  

• ICAEW - i just get to know this course from Sunway college .. actually im invited to attend one of the seminar as im shortlisted for it .. but i was sicked that day so didnt manage to attend .. in short , it takes 5 years to complete .. with 1 year for studying - 4 years work part-time study with BDO ... ( if im not mistaken ) .. CFAB - ICAEW takes 5.5years ( in Sunway College ) . fast exposure to working environment at young age with BDO sponsoring salary at the age of 19 years old .. work during day , study at night = lifeless .. lolz

• CIM - marketing professional course which i plan to take after ACCA ... i heard from my lecturer that ACCA students - " square " / CIM students - " round " .. they are trained to be decisive and innovative .. comes out with ideas and brainstorm with the group .. marketing - key element for business which encourages me to take .. take 1 year to complete only ..

recently , there is a new video posted in Youtube - Namewee fxxx TNB .. 268000 viewers in 4 days !! go watch it ~ recommended .. haha .. anyway , he is kinda rude .. while arguing with TNB officers .. from 3.59 onwards , vulgar words all the way to the end ( with a specially made song for TNB ! )

You kecil saja .. saya tak mau cakap dengan kau " said by Namewee .. >< style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">TNB has actually did nothing wrong .. power supply breakdown is not their fault .. since it is sudden , no notice can be issued through media - newspaper .. of course it may cause inconvenience to the resident in that areas ..

but Namewee actually did a great job by giving warning to TNB to improve service attitude and regular maintenance ( to prevent such incident again ) .. the way he expressed himself is different from others ..

Jennifer's Body Movie

Megan fox, the sexy main character in Transformer movie .. is also main character in this movie ..

in the beginning , the transformation into " Satan " , evil spirit ( im not sure whether she is still human or not after being stabbed multiple times ) is quite scary .. with the splitting the black liquid thing from the mouth .. which i dont know how the body generate such thing >< - okok , Satan has the special ability of this .. she kissed with 1 , 2 , 3 ... guyz ( even her best friend's bf ) by telling lies .. before i watched this movie , i went for Moral Studies exam .. based on my observation , Jennifer Check ( Megan Fox ) has no morally characteristic except friendship.. which further emphasis on the good character of Needy ( second main character )

the cinema today was quite active .. with people laughing when scary scene is about to appear .. another funny part is - i saw a gal scared his friend sitting in front ( by peekaboo ~ ) the girl sit in front freaked out totally and scream ..



overall rating for this movie 4/10 .. weak storyline , very fake , blasting noisy music >< , another deduction of rate due to "cutting" a lot of scenes ( it is Malaysia anyway ~)

of course there are more than these .. everyday seems to be a challenge to him .. he can see money in everywhere .. one day , i was reading my newspaper . then he glanced through it and snatched my newspaper .. there is it ! new business opportunity ..

sometimes , he discusses his company stuffs with me and bombards me with questions ( decision making is crucial in business ) .. although he has the answer beforehand ...my view and point sometimes do influence his thought .. but if he has decide something earlier , he will move on with his idea .. - believe in yourself ( never be afraid to dream )

i develop my reading habit through my dad ... every night , i see him reading his books .when we go shopping , he will go to bookstore .. he is not just read the book blindly .. but pick out crucial info and try to apply it in his business .. so he never see price tag when buying books which can help him make more $$

it is not easy to employ capable staff .. sometimes , he grumbles to me how lazy and irresponsible some of the staffs .. whether to fire them ? train them ? some staffs no point keeping them as they cant be helped anymore .. some staffs who are well-trained will leave the company at one time .." do i need to spend the time and energy to this staff ?" .. imagine if there are 100 + of staffs ..

Generation nowadays changes from last time .. give up easily when experience hardship and obstacles .. especially those from rich family - think they can survive even without working ( has family to support him/her ) that's what my dad dislike .. those young and fresh graduates doesnt seem to work with all their might ..

Good investment will bring back tonnes of $ .. never gamble with hard-earned money ( especially shares , gamble - uncertain ) .. although that piece of land is worthless , it can be converted into multi-million land ..

experience + entrepreneurship + wisdom + courage + foresight + intuition = successful biz

hope by this post , it will remind me over and over again to be successful person ..

i found out most of my long lost friends also register in facebook .. it is a good way to locate them .. i found my primary school friends - Aaron , Prabu , Nick , and a lot others. . with the "mutual friends" , it is easier for us to add friends that have connection to us .. last time i dont login facebook for a month , there is 20 friends waiting for my approval - " add as friend"

variety of mini games ... some needs daily visit to earn points / score .. now only play "Pet for Sale " .. more friends play that .. but actually high value means what ? popular ? ... some of the work are quite offending .. " kissing , dating " others =.= .. i randomly pick someone for them to hug ( more appropriate compared to others ).." Restaurant City " - take care of restaurant ..

not sure why my Mozilla got problem with facebook .. lagging for both of my desktops .. laptop ok ..

due the popularity , even my lecturers know about it .. he advises us not to play facebook that often till neglected study .. "putting all those comments for no reason " .. and also he said spending more than 1 hour in facebook = addicted .. agree with him .. now i spending more than 1 hour in blogging = addiction ?



another good part of facebook is allows us to upload pictures to be share with friends .. i only upload a few as it is slow ... need to resize and stuff - quite mafan .. according to Mr KoK , my tax lecturer said the tax authority may locate us with this type of networking in future .. so he advises us not to disclose much personal info in it ..

Just saw this advertisement in newspaper .. seems like AirAsia does realise that last time the food not much variety ( taste = ok ok only . but price double !! )

seems in the flight nothing to do much .. eat is a good idea .. so Tony Fernades really find new blue seas to expand his business while gaining profit .. the price seems much more cheaper than MAS but they have quite high profit margin ... ( play with sales volume )

targeting Malaysia customers , Asian food are their favourite .. if im not mistaken ,they even target the children by introducing Krispy Kream in the flight food menu ( not only children , even adults love it ) .. why they dont put Baskin Robin ice cream in the menu >< my t7 lecturer always set AirAsia in his Cost Control chapter today .. do know that they pay a lot of overhead cost , special route for flying in that route ( to prevent banging other airplanes ) , labour cost , buying new aeroplanes every year ... but yet they are able to convert the million loss making business to now successful budget plane .. with the slogan " everyone can fly "

with the zero admin cost , they still make profit .. it is all about cost reduction( more impact) + increase sales volume ... since they have to fly even though there is 1 customer - with cost of about rm 13k for each flight , why not they sell it cheap cheap to us + early booking ( to cover the OH ) ...

FaMiLy DaY

Nice outing today with my family ... but quite tiring ... get the chance to pray at Ampang .. pray for " Kau Wong Yeh " ( english i dont know how to say it ) .. anyway , during this period it is always rainy season .. today the sky quite dark .. when we reached Ampang , it started to rain ..


what a sad case - my dad forget to put umbrella in the car .. so we went to Ampang Point to buy 2 new umbrellas .. after reached there for few minutes , the rain stopped >< ( god playing with us )

As usual , the smoke and dust from the joystick really make my eye watery luckily with the spectacles , it reduces the effect .. didnt see any familiar face there .. my friends went on fri , sat .. but not sunday .. one of my friend's grandma stays there for 9 days - ( which they believe is good - im not sure with the reason anyway )

My dad bought 9 little birds to set them free .. each for rm 3 !! quite expensive but worth it ( since doing good ) im responsible to set them free - so happy to do good ! they flew out in split second when i open a small gap ... now i understand why my dad doesnt encourage me to buy pets that have to keep them in cage .. really sad to be jailed in the cage .. thus i dont buy hamster although they are really cute !!!!

thanks to my barganing skill , save my mum rm 2 for the little tortoise bun .. ^^

camwhore in the fitting room .. ( do you realise i wear a new spectacles .. ? my old one broke while i sat on it ><> i prefer my old spec - Reddish purple ( my favourite colour ) , large lens , more comfortable .. this spec often drop down every 1 minute ~ haiz .. then ,have to push it up

bought 2 new shirts .. with my mum's birthday special discount rate at 30% .. so cheap ! next time i dont buy all shirts during Chinese New Year but to spread the money over the year .. so as to have more choices ... during CNY , mostly are red ..

Halloween coming soon ? not sure ~ any idea when is it ?
