NS ?

NS = nice ? no way man ... it is national service .. When the name lists are released , im not that excited . But i just want to know the result only .. if i didnt get chosen , then alhamdulilah .. but if chosen , i will postpone anyway. It wont affect me now ..but sooner or later will affect or never ... who knows ..

The day when the result was released , i surf the government website to check my name. I took 10 mins to get into the link ... then the name list couldnt open - lagging ... i gave up on checking via the net ..and use the SMS method ... my friend gave me the number used to check last year batch ... waited until night - no reply .. gave up with the poor service ..

Next morning in the school , i found out the method to check via SMS . everybody shows different emotion .. some happy and excited , mostly scared to check , others neutral ( stun ) .. Since our Chem teacher is leaving us today ( last period with her ) , so everybody gets quite excited .. the teacher quite lenient today .. she lets us play music while doing experiment !!! my friend connected his iPhone to the speaker .. nice environment to study .. haha ..

I was chosen for the siri 6/ 2009 ... which i think is the 1st batch ..- Dec - Feb ( if im not mistaken ) some of my friends said got 2 more batches to go .... not that sure ... Im gonna postpone until i finish my tertiery studies ... i gonna follow the Jan intake for SAM in Taylor..although they have March and June intake :P ..

Im not well-prepared for NS yet .. ... There may have some improvements after few more years .. maybe not only rifle - something different and more advanced ~~ Maybe , it might be cancelled due to large sum of money spent on PLKN (around few billions if im not mistaken ) and convert it to subsidise petrol .. haha .. who knows ..



If im in control of PLKN , i will only let those who are interested to join .. and also those who are less active in outdoor activities.. no need to select 15% .. can save cost and satisfy the citizen needs ..actually i also interested in trying out new stuffs ... but i want to finish my study first and also other reasons .. Why so many people oppose PLKN ? The main reasons are facilities , food , service , acitivites and others ... If they can make some changes to it , a lot people will sign up volunteerily .. not only for the new generation ~~ different group of ages too ..
