For me , it depends on situation .. if you have to migrate , then you have no choice but to move .. where ever your parents go , you have to follow .. except you want to stay in hostel ... There are some of my friends from Indo studying in my school too .. they are trained to be independent ... they want to pursue their studies in better school ... guess Sri KL is quite well-known :p .. It may give benefits ... The benefits are :
- get better education
- more freedom
- more independent ( as i said )
- make new friends
But the parents have to make sure that their son / daughter are willing to go and mature enough ... if they are too young , it might give different result .. They may be too stress , miss their family , cant cope with studies , lack of guidance and so on ...
In my last exam essay , i wrote about studying in overseas is better compared to studying locally .. I think the quality is a lot different although it might be much more expensive... if you can afford , why dont seek for better university ? where the lecturers are well-trained , learn their cultures and traditions and at the same time learn to be more independent.. you have to learn to make your own decision as nobody can help you all the times .. .. The students come from all over the world .. so you can learn their cultures as well .. Studying is part of life .. you should also enjoy your life in overseas .. you will slowly figure out the differences ... during holidays , you can go travel .. as it is cheaper ( stay near there ) ....
Now , there are a lot new university in Malaysia too .. Lim Kok Wing U , Monash U , and so on ....They are well-known to provide good education ...
